i'm not far off the end. sure the graphics aren't that technically amazing but definitely sets the mood for the game and the storyline is great - better than Doom 3 and Quake 4 by a long shot. I have it running smoothly albeit with everything turned down to low except for actors, textures and lighti...

On Gaheris following the forced respec i've gone

50 staff
42 enhance (losing red qui/dex doesn't seem to have made any noticeable effect)
24 rejuvenation
18 parry

if it doesn't pan out i'll use the free mythic respec that came with this patch :)

the hardest decision for me is how to spec it :) i suspect for my RvR/PvE group friendly friar I may be going for: 49 enh, 39 staff, 34 rejuv and 10 parry and for my mostly solo/PLing PvE friar either 45 enh, 50 staff, 24 rejuv and 9 parry or 45 enh, 50 staff, 15 rejuv and 21 parry or possibly 47 en...

Little tip for the Tailor - salvage everything from lowbie group and it will work out very cheap to level up :) Everything that can't be used by a member of the lowbie group that is. We're not allowed to transfer stuff from alts. Though joc's wizard's glowy staff looks suspicious ;) For tailoring i...

Re: Not a very relaxing evening yesterday...

I found myself disconcertingly wanting Liverpool to win their match on Saturday night. Not because I like them, I don't. But so that the match didn't go into extra time and delay Doctor Who after it :P

Phoned insurance company. Told that my policy has £75 excess on it and i should look for quotes for a new coffee table to give to them. Also a 3rd party will be coming around to look at the table which now consists of 4 metal legs and a bin bag of glass :)

Not a very relaxing evening yesterday...

Not long after I got home and had just finished reading the local paper, my wife came into the lounge and placed her drink on our coffee table and went back to cooking the evening meal (being a Wednesday this was a curry). I got up and went into the dining room (rarely used as such though!), turned ...
