tried to contact customer suppourt but they are saying they cant help with pre-orderd games im starting to get annoyed :evil: damn i knew i should of got it from D2D I can understand the frustration but you can't actually do anything with the codes yet anyway and I'd expect EA will get around to it...

In theory you should get a headstart code e-mailed to you which you can then enter on the account management pages at war-europe. However, the pages aren't yet available. Also there is some confusion about if/when play.com are mailing out the codes.

We have endless e-mails from a couple of members of staff who have favourite mugs that go missing - usually followed by about 6 other people who don't know the difference between reply and reply all saying 'It's not me'.

The one thing that's putting him off is all the old DAoC 'leet' ones that left a sour taste on DAoC and he finds WAR looks a bit too cartoony compared to Lotro and DAoC. I'm actively seeking to avoid servers where there is mass influx of ex-DaoC guilds so as to avoid the resurfacing of tire old arg...

I found WoW simpler to get into in the early levels though it may be the case that more tutorial type tips and hints will appear in WAR during OB and release (they probably assume the Closed Beta testers have done this kind of thing before).
