if yer not PLing the center bit is less aggro-filled than you'd think - the sockburn worm patch is nice, the drakes are cuddly... though they're probably not worth it with the green adds and the instanuking they do.

Teg valley sw from sursbrooke is superb fun if you have someone with nearsight - fought in there non-stop for an hour once... hooray for mcl

oh and that's why Fing can sip tea with Lord Elidyn

He doesn't mention the rock giants - probably because they're evil unless you have a fg of 45+.

oh and the map is classic.

I have done a lot of soloing in the frontier as soon as pbAoE and ice wizards became FotM noone wanted a fire wizard in their group.

I would recomend killing Grimwoods / and Grimwood keepers at night as they are only a 6h (game time) between about midnight and 6am and not kill Fellwoods - they also only have 2 spaws - one near Excal the other on the Snow/Penn border.

Grimwoods are on a differnt faction to the low lwevel ones in sausage 'mountain fellwood' rather than 'fellwood' faction and I have killed severl mids/hibs while solo by running onto one of the other many Mountain Fellwood spawns in Penn and Penn/HW border near Eras and have them chewed to death by 10-20 angry 50ft trees

PS: most Mids/Hibs have good elly faction and will try the same kind of trick with them, I got good elly faction by killing Tegs and can now suprise them mids/hibs lieing in wait and blow the crap out of them
