Installed TOA on 800 MHz 395 RAM Gforce2 32 RAM PC, but the loading screen doesn't come past the : Connecting to service message in the loading screen.
I got the latest Direct X, so can't be that, and I removed firewall on last few tries. PC locks up and have to reboot and scandisk after every try.
Any suggestions, apart from buying a new PC? :wall: :flame: :bash:

PS. Nice new emoticons fing

:great: :witch:  :wabbit: :wabbit:

get the latest drivers for your gfx card. if that doesnt work, update motherboard ones too.

Check your GFX options, there's a setting for "Better Framerates" ie for machines with less than 512 mb

That or buy some more memory. it's cheep these days

I have same problem. when logging on, instead of fullscreen picture with in-game logging-loading, game closes itself and good bye. I also updated firmware on my pc, reinstalled whole system, putted in newest drivers. And... nothing helped.

My PC configuration:
Intel Celeron 1,7 GHz
ASUS P4S8X (SIS 648 chipset)
Leadtek Winfast A280 LETD graphic card (GeForce 4Ti 4200 AGP 8x, 64 MB)
512 MB Kingmax DDR3200 (400 MHz) RAM
Hard disc Wester Digital WD400BB (40 GB) working solo on raid controller Promise integrated on board
Sound card integrated on board too.

What chipset do you have? Might be some SIS related trouble
Do you have some IDE controller different of classical ATA/SATA? (Promise RAID or st like that)? Can also be trouble with RAID controller. I have 2 other computers both with Intel chipsets and IDE controllers (southbridge). On both, 1.67 works without a slightest trouble.

Can be also some software conflict. Could you name all programs running on your pc? Maybe we run same trouble-maker application, but still I see hardware as a cause.

RAID shouldn't be a problem, i'm running 2 80gb SATA hard disks in a striped set and don't have any problems with ToA.

Ye, but we don't have ToA, we have only SI with 1.67 patch... Might be ToA exe file won't do this trouble...
