All of mine but one were randomly chosen. The exception is Maelcoluim Comyn (old scots versions of my real first name and mum's maiden name).

Bracken was the name of the char I had for some years on the Ultima Online Baja (US) server. Originally taken from a character in a William Horwood trilogy (The Duncton Chronicles), it's also the name of a wild plant that grows on the Malvern Hills (where i grew up).

Lies...its after part of the name of a golf course I play on called Brackenwood - so he could think of me everytime he played...whilst he got wood
