Quidco - %'s off online orders

Discounts n stuff

No idea if everyone knows about this site buts its rather handy - just saved myself £22 on a new washing machine (must have something to do with the added load of poopy babygrows destroying the old one - worked fine for 10yrs prior to that!!)

Basically it works like those banner adverts you see on sites - wheras normally the website you click through gets a % of any sale - this site refunds it to you instead - Game / Play / Tesco / B&Q etc are on there - well worth a look - free to sign up etc. The catch is basically there is a £5 charge - which is only deducted from your savings - you dont actually pay anything to them - so I am still £17 up currently.

Already noticed one possible cheeky way to earn a couple of quid as well - lotsa of finance companies will give you £20 or less on acceptance of a new credit card - need to read the small print but I am hoping if you just take one out they give you the cash - then you can cancel it in a couple of months and keep the cash (no idea if this will work yet - only just stumbled on it) ....however - I work for a bank and deal with credit etc - must warn you if you dont know - the more applications you make for credit - generally the lower you credit score will go due to the amount of searches - so if this way to get some cash does work - dont go crazy - 1/2 searches a month can put a dint in your score potentially - so maybe make 3-5 apps per year I would say at best - if you need proper info just PM me etc - cba typing more :)

Tis a good site, been using it for a few weeks.
Very handy, if like me you buy stuff online a lot.
Go to (for example) play via the quidco website and get discounts - love it!

Not the same thing, but http://www.hotukdeals.com/ is worth a look too.

It's always worth Googling for promotional discount codes before you buy online.

I managed to get one that saved me 10% on my new plasma tv from John Lewis.

been using it for the best part of a year, mostly for games (usually from GAME 11% and you get their own in-house points too) and CDs & DVDs (preferably at HMV 9%)

Though I often find that Amazon.co.uk sometimes beats the prices (including cashback), when the item qualifies for Supersaver shipping anyway.

Should be using washable nappies then you won't get any poo covered baby grows.... just kill your washing machine with nappies instead, but at least you'll have saved more than enough money to buy that one and another new one in the long run ;) Cloth nappies for the win!!!

I heard about this a while ago but didn't sign up, thanks for jogging my memory :)

Well I think I have found a proper bargain via quidco - I opened up a betting account with Paddy Power (wanted to put some bets on UFC event) and got an offer via quidco - open an account - stake £10 and get a free bet (which turned out to be £20) and also get £20 cashback via quidco !! If the cashback validates I will be laughing - noticed in one or two other gambling sites they are possibly dependant on activity of the account - though Paddypower has no mention of that. So basically for £10 I stuck a bet on (which I won) got a free £20 bet - which I am waiting on the outcome of, and I get £20 back - so even if all my bets lose I am up £10..

This also seems to apply to William Hill - got £20 pending cashback through them as well as tried it out with them as well - might as well get some free cash :) - they also gave me a free matching bet of £10 on a £10 bet (you have to stake a minimum of £10 on a single bet)

Think Victor Chandler also do an offer as well as a few others so potential to make a fair few quid.

Oh and Abbey National are offering £50 upon opening certain current accounts with them via quidco - thats my next stop!!

I'm waiting for my Paddy Power one to validate then I'm moving on to the next one on the list!

Same here - gonna wait til those validate in a couple months (£40 thank you very much!), then hit a bunch more - but will also then use teh missus and use her parents address to open a load more - free cash is free cash!!

The Visa and Banking free cash is also decent but gotta be careful with credit searches - more you have - lower your credit score/chance of acceptance will be.

PaddyPower tip of the week - odds not up yet but if you can get anything over evens on Thiago Alves fighting Matt Hughes @ UFC 85 - get on it - I fancy his chances and if I can get evens its worth a few quid, if I can get nearer 2/1 I am gonna lump most of my account on it I reckon :)

Told ya Alves would spank Hughes :)

Up to about £110 for opening betting accounts so far via quidco - actual stake put into said accounts = £80 so up £30 no matter what...and thanks to Mr Alves and friends I have also turned a tidy profit on said accounts :)

Moving onto the Bingo sites next :)

Oh and here is a cracker....

search Kelkoo and The High Street Web on Quidco - basically 10p free just for browsing a random item via their links - I am doing it daily as are a bunch of lads in work - thats £36.50 a year just for searching for something random that takes 2 seconds - the High St one you can do twice a day @ 4p a time :) (will pay for ya quidco membership every year at the least)

Indeed - the High St ones don't validate apparently just go straight to payout - at 4p a time I should be rolling in coppers in about 4months when they start kerchinging!!!

How exactly does quidco work? I'm pretty damn sure I forgot to go through quidco when I bought my DS last week, but I've still got cashback from it. How clever is that?!

So that's DS plus guitar hero package from Tesco £119.71, cheaper than most places

£15 off voucher when you spend over £100 (check www.hotukdeals.com for voucher codes for tesco, they always seem to have one going)

collect from store so saving on postage

£3.05 cashback

plus clubcard points!

What a bargain!
