mind reroll . once they let you transfer you can bring your main over .. today yrrb and jomy joined us and yesterday cat
and if anyone else gets rift come to steampike and find the wolverines . this game is what warhammer should have been

well so far that is im only lvl 39 but as is im haveing a ball
the pvp is somewhat week and needs a fair bit of work but its still fun
now the Pve is the best iv seen since Everquest . the machanics are all sensible and work as they should . and its entertaining

i cant say your gonna get this game and love it right away as we all like different things . but for me im so glad i took a punt on this

nice spec Fing the Aoe thing should be fun i have loads of fun aoe nuking stuff till it glows . but do you really need 51 points in 1 soul might be worth useing say 36 then get more abilities from second soul ?

My little cabalist is level 12 and am loving it!

Didn't like the pre patch event rifts opening on my head though!

Game looks awesome, good fun!

Noticed you can Play both eu & us on the one account just by changing a setting. Logged on steampike last night, however my normal playing times of 6pm - 10pm equate to 8am - 12pm in the uk when no-one is on :(

Decided to swap to a more melee orientated cleric (primarily Shaman with rest of points going into Druid) and have got it to level 16 so far.

Also bought a second role for more healer orientated duties.

That's exactly what I'm doing except as a cabalist for ranged dps. Fun in pvp, never actually kill anyone but always end up highest damage, heh

I have been playing this myself have created 3 toons and chosen the mage which is a necro/warlock/no idea what to pick for that one and i have my warrior being reaver/riftblade and the rogue which i picked assassin but not really planned enough to decide on the other souls.

its fun lvling up once you hit 50 its a dungeon gear grind as the pvp is a joke
which is a shame tbh i had loads of fun lvling up they kinda like took wow and mixed in the battlegrounds from warhammer . but the open pvp is none existent . i stoped playing mainly due to most others doing the same . and im not a fan of the gear grind thing myself . but if thats your thing its a great game in that respect . better than wow id say

I tried the Rift trial to have something to do after doing WoW dailies, but I don't think I'll be getting a subscription soon. The game is nice enough graphically, but I just couldn't feel any involvement in the world and storyline, which definitely is a pre-req for me in any RPG type game.

The game does have quite a few things going for it though - the triple talent tree looked particularly impressive, even if somewhat overwhelming for a new player. It's back to WoW for me though!

Are many of you still active on Steampike? Would move there if you are but since we made a guild and have a full guild vault it's a bit of a pain if noone is around :)
