Annoying problem

Post by Twigbob »

Hi guys, got a really annoying problem I was hoping someone might be able to help with;

Got a wireless mouse and keyboard with new computer, manhattan something or other. The thing is they both use the same USB reciever and only one of them is active at a time - has anyone come across anything like that before?

That's because they are probably both working on the same ID code. The receiver can handle 2, but if both have the same ID number, the receiver can't tell.

Your mouse, KB and receiver should have an ID button.

Procedure should be:
Computer off
Plug in the receiver
Computer on
Press the ID button on the receiver
Press the ID button on the mouse (mouse is now set as nr1)
After a few seconds press ID button on KB (receiver now finds out there is a second device)

Well that's the theory anyway. :)

I didn't want to suggest that, but wires are in my humble opinion the best solution for gamorz. I mean how can you possibly do a 360 no scope with a lagging keyboard and mouse!!
