GW2 - does DAOC like (lite) PvP ?

Read an interesting piece over at
Kill Ten Rats today regarding the upcoming GW2 PvP. It was sourced from an interview at a
GW2 specific blog that interviewd a DEV.
What caught my eye was KTR reference to DAOC's three way RvR but the sides being made up by three servers.
There will be four maps at launch. We will be pitting three different worlds together in WvW. Each world will have a home map that connects to a center map. Teams can invade their opponents’ home maps by first going through the center map. So we expect the center map to be a crossroads of combat as each team does battle for the glory of their world.
I've not really followed GW2 development before but I might keep an eye on it now to see how it's PvP pans out.

Always enjoyed the original Guild Wars, loved the fact I could jump in and out without feeling I had to play alot to justify a monthly sub.
The additional of world rvr (as opposed to guild based arenas) would make it into a very attractive proposition indeed.

Might be able to build up some community spirit and pride for your server. Remember that one
seems to have gone the way of the Dodo in the years since we proudly claimed Albion/Excalibur as home.

Looking forward to this and am preparing a casual guild for this if anyone's interested.
Have set up a Steam group as a placeholder for a guild if anyone wants an invite.

been following this for a while now .. they still have the capture the flag scenario map shit . But the invasion stuff sounds great
only person i know doing some in depth GW2 videos at mo is this there in the uploaded vid list
