some might know me already, some not. Well, long story short. I am one of the GMs of Dark Prophecy and us wants to organise some Dragon Raid trips in future.
I talked to Ererim yesterday night about the possibility to link our two alliances (ours is the Knight of Pendragon alliance) to be able to kick the dragons butt. you sure did well in the whole taking control thing really helped the event go a lot smoother
only problem with the raid was the lotto at the end took an age and was very very confusing but was nibbles' first major event so cant complain really. Except for the fact i lost in group lotto for respec stone grrrr...nerf my /random 100 skills

well we did an initial random 100 for extra stones after each leader getting one of each stone. The highest rolling ppl got another set of each stone (thought this was a little unfair but then i rolled high so didnt complain )
after that the ppl who didnt get an extra stone rolled for items in the same way
the main prob with the lotto was that more and more group leaders kept showing up so in the end about 16 GLs were there, dont think they stuck to a set list of GLs from the start of the raid so everything got a bit confused and somewhere along the line a spare set of stones went missing
that said it was nibbles' first major raid so little probs are allowed i think
PS. got a spare realm respec stone if any of HG want it, seeing as you made up 1/4 of the group and ran away to krondon right away give us a shout if you want it

yea he said he didnt need any stones, ill maybe see if anyone from kotl needs it, if you have 3 stored away may as well get it to someone that can use it

well, first about lotting a set of stones. You cant say its unfair if I told you all in CG that I am doing that way and if all are ok with that. Noone complained so I went on.
And I did a GL list but had to handle with changing group members and switching group leaders. So maybe we had two leaders for one group. But its not my fault if people try to rip of lottos. What came in addition is that I tried to instant invite more groups which delayed the raid start up to one hour. And standing in front of such a desaster while leading the first big raid ever, well, I think I dont have to tell you how shocking that is.
But all went wrong all in all. And at the next raid I will make it better
Oh and did I tell you its next sunday at 13.00 gmt again?

hehe I went to the loxleyhood lotto disaster before I ran mine...
hence the patented Fingoniel method (tm) of taking EVERYONE's names that are on the raid first...
takes a bit of time of waiting around at the beginning... but it's effective
also the one-roll lotto is good because noone can complain "aww but I wanted to /random for the drops not for the stones and I won a crappy stone!!" - one roll .... that's it
