Focus on a belt drop

Anyone know if this works?
Just haven't been able to test it.
(Belt with lvl 50 focus for body and matter)

If it dropped, then why shouldn't it work or it would not have dropped in the first place. I think.
Then again this might be too logical thinking for a Mythic programmer
It would be nice to be able to cast without a staff as it is the first give-away to who should die first, without losing the power use reducing focus.
I sometimes run around without shield as I think casting with bare hands and arms looks way cooler

it doesn't work unfortunately
it's just a bugged drop - focus only works on staves (the fellow in the US servers with it tested it to see if it affected mana - but no joy)

pity really, it looks a lot cooler casting with just your hands
give staff spec!

Already thought that it didn't work, as my mana drain was pretty high when I exped with it for the 5 mins that I put it on.
Oh well..
