Timbaland on the new quote? Only because I heard one of his songs this morning and its stuck in my head - but I dont know the lyrics so its kinda just an annoying humming noise :(

Thats laughable imo - moaning about some beeps from a Commodore 64 sample... seriously is that the worst thing happening in the world? - Not that I care either way about Timbaland but if I was a judge on that - I would assume that Wiki peice was written by the aggreived party whose music has been heard by about 5 people and is just trying to get himself some cheddar - Hammer ripping Queen is fair enough but someone ripping a track no-one has ever heard of - not that likely - and even it it was the original artist should be happy at least one bit of their track actually came to something...

The problem being there are soooo many sounds out there on sample discs and the web - finding out where they originate is nigh on impossible without listening to every track by every artist ever..

meh stealing is stealing. and if you think that only a few will have heard it you're seriously underestimating the retro music scene

a photo showed that he has a machine called a SID station in his studio which is effectively the C64's SID sound chip in a box - he'll have loaded the .sid file into it which comes with creator's info so he knows damn well where it came from
