Perfect DAoC snaks

I was thinking this afternoon about food - sure beats working, and frankly as I have a cold I'm using it as an excuse not to work. Anyway, what I was thinking was about eating while playing DAoC, and the engineering of it. When playing, you obviously want to eat sometimes, or you end up a skinny wretch like Wabbit - and who'd want that?
So what's the perfect DAoC food? It's got to be easily eatable with one hand, so you can twist chants/songs at the same time - or stick and spam anytime styles for you warrior types. It's got to be not too messy, so you don't get sloppy bits in your keyboard. And it's got to be laden with huge amount of fat, calories, and preferably sugar as well, because - well, just because.
My first thought was pizza - but then I remember that when the cheese slides off and on to the keyboard it can be pretty nasty. Then I thought chocolate, but frankly chocolate requires concentration - you don't want to be distracted when munching choc, it's too nice to waste.
So, I finally came up with the supreme DAoC food... the chip butty. Yes, slavered with butter and just enough ketchup to glue it together without being too gooey. I fully intend to test this theory out as soon as possible.

Your HG Food Correspondent.

mmmmmm

last night proved that chow mien whilst filling a few of the criteria is that little bit too messy for eating whilst playing.

Pizza is good but can end in tears... especially if you have potatoe wedges and dip...

I'd say crisps and beer are the best solution I've found so far...

I dunno how you take your coffee but unless its real strong I hear people usually drink it. Stella you drink then eat the can ofc so I can understand that.

Bourbon creams are what keep me going.

Faster, but not necessarily the right person.

Not necessarily the right realm, if they've got to the bottom of the bottle :P

Heal from a drunk smite cleric. Hmmmmm might be better off siting down for 10 secs

As for the food. Ever read microserfs, flat food is the way to go. You can keep the door closed and have people post it. No disturbance from kids/wife/brother etc.

However on a Friday night it's gotta be wine and a bag of Walkers sensations :D The sweet chili ones are sooooo good

Pitta pockets with homus, feta filled peppers and mixed beans, all washed down with either a large cup of tea or Hoegaarten.

All easily eaten with 1 hand and no spillages ( tried and tested)

Snack snack has to be a big ole bowl of bombay mix and a beer - use teh spoon for bombay mix so doesnt get fingers all messy on teh keyboard...

Or how about - Jaffa Cakes - full of energy and 1g of fat per biccy - eat 90 and you can cover your entire daily allowance !!!

Hot food , toast is always a safe bet imo or if you want to live dangerously how about some crumpets with butter on.....mmmmmm crumpet.......

Even better is a re-heated chinese meal from teh evening before - that wins hands down imo !!

Salty: mixed peanuts or crisps.
Sweet: a nice cup of coffee with a Cadbury's bar (if available) or a couple of cookies for dunking.

When I read the bit about Twirls I thought it didnt sound right - I knew someone else who did it - and now you mention Spira's ..the pieces fall into place - tried it myself tho and wasn't that impressed - thing melted all over me hands etc and ended up more hassle than its worth......now grating an aero and melting it in boiling milk - thats groovy*!

*has also been known to contain other ingredients.
