no, no and no!

Another clue: This is a british character (and british actor) in an american series. They play on his dead pan britishness often but he's not the only british char (and actor). The other one is portrayed as the slightly more stereotypical bumbling reserved bookworm englishman, although he might prefer coffee over tea...... ;)

The extra clues relating to the characters in question are in bold.

Spike it was - we have a winner. He was moaning american style about englishman like Giles then caught himself out. Brilliant line...

I thought it was Buffy but can't remember a single quote from a movie other than Grease so thought I'd better not guess :)

Btw Buffy is actually quite funny - but I have to admit the later series brooding Spike is also quite an attraction :)

I haven't a clue tbh - but I can't believe Derv (and Fing come to think of it) has admitted to watching and liking Buffy.

Dave has a huge collection of buffy vids, as well as friends... stargate... firefly... x-files.... futurama (although admittedly those are mines too!)... it's a geek fest here

When we where first dating he used to have this scantly clad piccy of willow on his wall- first thing I got rid off when we moved in together :P

I dunno why I'm saying this all actually

Willow = not hot imo :(

I also didn't get why the chicks digged spike either - I thought he looked like skeletor after a couple of bags of chips and curry sauce.

See - Spike :

Angel's a bit too soft though - Spike develops into a better brooding vampire after he falls for Buffy in the last two series. See vampire fantasies are premised on domination and Angel just doesn't cut it. I think I'd better stop there :)
