That and I am teh crap at lyrics anyway....tho not as bad as the wife who tends to just make up words to fit whatever she is trying to sing along to...

Is Pendulum the song or the group? What genre is Pendulum / Slam?

:help:

Pendulum is the group Slam is the song, it is a very over played drum and bass song - hear it in the clubs almost every time I am out.

Ahhh there's the catch then, it's from the club scene...

... of which I am no longer.

I'm more of a curry at home with friends then noisy film on the home cinema than a raving clubber.

I put my raving clobber away about 8years ago when I met teh wife - used to do the odd night out in bars around Liverpool but clubbing...loooong gone for me.

I was more of a gabba hardcore/techno head than drum n bass fan as well.. Well that or old school house type stuff when I wanted an easy night :)

I can imagine you bopping away to some hardcore - it's about as close to spam as you can get in musical form ;)

Might that be 'Chasing Cars' by Snow Patrol ? One of the few somewhat modern albums in my collection :)

A UK band came up with these lyrics 30 years ago and today, they ring truer than ever:
The ice age is coming, the sun's zooming in
Meltdown expected, the wheat is growing thin
Engines stop running, but I have no fear
Cause London is drowning and I live by the river

It was number one when I was born. /cool

Heard this on the radio this morning - I've always found that second line rather peculiar :p

If her daddy's poor, just do as you feel
