anyone had a look at
www.goa.com since today?
they are hosting some free online games that might be worth a look at.
the golf game is very cutesy but i wont hold that against it and will try it out i think.

quite good fun actually...
golf game is cute but didn't find any opponents
might be because I only checked out the english speaking room.
Joined the french room for Gunbound (once I downloaded the working version... beta ftw) and got beaten by some friendly germans...
(they blew me to pieces but were nice about it
)
Gunbound is kinda like worms online vs people..
guild golf match imo

the golf game rarely has people on the english servers so i rarely get to play

from my gunbound experience i'd suggest trying the non-english servers
I was chatting in english with some german people on a french server heh

Finally managed to work myself through the tutorial and one hole. Fun game
.
One thing that strikes me though is that most (or all?) golf games still use the same three-click hitting method as the Golf game on the Nintendo 8-bit - and that's about 20 years old
