Aye it was a horrible tackle, did you see the interview with Scott Brown after the game?

It better be good this !! Nowt wrong with a good hard tackle imo - Kuyt's 2 footer against Neville the other week - nowt wrong with that because a) he is a Neville b) he is a Neville and c) he was in an Everton kit... I love the Karate School on Soccer AM as well - most of these kicks to peoples heads n faces - shouldnt even be a freekick imo - Footy has gone too soft, for what these overpaid primadonna's earn I think there should be a random amount* of landmines on the pitch during a game...

*Somewhere between 11 and say 30 - just enough to either take out one whole team or more than enough for both, the ref's and with luck the linesmen as well.....and any idiotic pitch invading streaker dudes.

I agree Evzy, footy has gone a bit soft, almost none contact sometimes :/

Ahh the pleasure of a doing a nice sliding tackle in the rain, bit of ball, plenty of man..... ;)

He barely even mentioned it, just *oh that tackle, it was a bit sore but just ran it off*. Looked pretty damn painful.

Finally remembered to watch this - some dude just mentioned it on the radio so I had to pop teh PC on and check it - cant check vid from work and most of my browsing is done there these days :(

Tis a decent tackle that....when I were a lad that wasn't even worth a ticking off let alone a yellow - dude's leg didnt even come off - wasn't even hanging on by a stringy piece of flesh - don't see what the fuss is all about tbh :)

To be fair tho - not quite but nearly a Roy Keane v Alf Inge special....

that one was evil too. Funny how he got it his face after and shouted at him as he writhed on the floor lol.

I loved Keane as a player, wouldn't have liked to play against him thou....

That Benfica player got a 6 match ban for it.

If he had any more momentum or a weaker leg it would have snapped clean off.
