forum technical question

is there any way to easily attach images to posts without first having them sitting in cyberspace?
reason i ask was...i was thinking of starting a scribbling forum game where you post a sketch and the readers try to decypher the phrase represented by the piccy, like the old tv show catchphrase.
anyone able to help me with this?

You could maybe find a way to use Google's Picasa to handle the pictures, still have to upload but means you dont have to have your own space and the software etc is free and very easy to use.

I did look at it for the kotl site, but it was one of those things i never got round to in the end, and that site's long since fallen by the wayside. My more recent forums have been using either Simple Machines Forum, or PHPBB 3
