Effect on concentration pool of higher piety
Tested it today on NPC's in Camelot.
No armour, no itamz, but augmented acuity II: PIE 127
Buffed AF, SPEC AF, STR, CON, STR/CON, DEX, DEX/QUI on NPC 1
Buffed AF, SPEC AF, STR, CON, STR/CON, DEX, DEX/QUI on NPC 2
Buffed AF on NPC 3
All armour and itamz + AA II: PIE 202
Buffed AF, SPEC AF, STR, CON, STR/CON, DEX, DEX/QUI on NPC 1
Buffed AF, SPEC AF, STR, CON, STR/CON, DEX, DEX/QUI on NPC 2
Buffed AF, SPEC AF on NPC 3
The effect is minimal to say the least

As far as I know, + enhance augments the effect of baseline buffs, but not the concentration pool (the amount of buffs able to cast). To be complete I'll point out I got 35enhance +13. So I had 35+2 naked and 35+13 dressed.
No I didn't relog in between. Took my clothes and jewelry off, buffed some NPC's. Removed buffs again. Put all back on and buffed again.
I wasn't wearing underpants at that moment

Tested it again cos I couldn't sleep and stuff. Buffed the guards in Hurbury.
- No armour, no itamz, but augmented acuity II: PIE 127
- I relog.
Buffed AF, SPEC AF, STR, CON, STR/CON, DEX, DEX/QUI on NPC 1

Buffed AF on NPC 3
- All armour and itamz + AA II: PIE 202
- I relog again.

Buffed AF, SPEC AF, STR, CON, STR/CON, DEX, DEX/QUI on NPC 2
Buffed AF, SPEC AF, STR, CON, STR/CON on NPC 3
4 buffs difference now instead of just one. Fing was right again (damn him) about the relog part. But it still makes me wonder why I could cast 1 buff extra in the first test without relogging.
Hmm should maybe test it a 3rd time but with zoning instead of relogging.

tis a bit weird... (the me being right thing, I'm sure the relogging has a reasonable explanation too)Gribz0r wrote:Fing was right again (damn him) about the relog part. But it still makes me wonder why I could cast 1 buff extra in the first test without relogging.

Perhaps they add conc for +spec without having to relog, whereas a change in pie requires a relog?
n.b. as there's quite a difference in relogging worthwhile noting if you have a necky with +pie - you port to Emain/Odins and need to relog to get the full conc!!!
I also think teh weird things can happen with conc - I'm sure I've been able to buff more when someone's died with buffs, and then been rebuffed (i.e. it doesn't add back into the conc pool correctly).
As a cleric I've often wondered about striking until Mythic fix the most excruciatingly annoying things.

that's a point though - the buffs might not remove the same amount of conc as they add - which would explain grib's first result...
try buffing once without equipment, relog, _then_ put equipment on and buff again, then remove all the buffs and buff again
see if something changes.
