I might have a couple of names for you - all American stuff

First of all, George Carlin - my personal favourite. Titles to look out for: 'At Carnegie Hall', 'Back in Town', 'Carlin on Campus', 'Jammin' in New York' and 'Life is worth losing'.

The following three are Texans, so only listen if you can bear the accent :-)
Bill Engvall (Famous quote: Here's your sign!)
Ron White (Drunk in Public)
Jeff Foxworthy (known for his 'You might be a redneck' lines)

Dennis Leary and good old Eddie Murphy ('Delirious' and 'Raw') are still worth listening to.

Enjoy :)

Dennis Leary I am not as keen on more because he ripped the shit outta Bill Hicks material in his younger days and I don't like him much because of that - though I have to admit Rescue Me which he wrote is very good to be fair.

George Carlin - if he is the one I am thinking of - old dude with white hair/beard? He is mega funny, will have to grab some of his stuff asap!

Yep, sounds like Carlin :). 'You're all diseased' is another one of his shows, his shows are often listed as HBO Specials btw.

Tonight on ITV 3 or 4 I think it is - Eddie Murphy Raw and Delirious are on and Dennis Leary's Roast is on in between them.
