I think that's Happy Talk but the only artist I know for it is Captain Sensible which is unlikey to be the original :)

It's from South Pacific (the musical) isn't it?

Roll the Bones album is musically very good but production is probably the worst of all of them. Hence stuff from that album is better live. Roll the Bones is off the live set list now :(. Did they play it at NEC last year?

i went to sheffild last year but the setlist was probably the same, so no, they didnt play roll the bones.
in my opinion the worst production was on the presto album, although it contains some of my favourite tracks, it`s always worth buying the live albums to hear Rush at their best.

yes its happy talk from south pacific and captain sensible :)

Right I decided to choose a song by what came up next on my mp3 player (*)
Pissing down with rain on a boring Wednesday -
Watching the news and not eating your tea
(*) Disclaimer I may have skipped the odd Westlife track in the name of decency

Sorry not quite. I think the problem is that this lot are all old rockers :)

Hmm...I'll try to think of a clue or two.

Bah I'm obviously just living in a bygone decade by myself, time for extra lyrics I think ;)

Well it happened years ago,
when you lived on Stanhope Road.
We listened to your sister,
when she came home from school,
cos she was two years older,
and she had boys in her room.
We listened outside and heard her.
Alright.

Very generous Xin :D

A beautiful day, we had lunch on the way
And all for under a pound, you know
100% not in my collection, its a truely awful memory from my childhood <shudder>

Question is, will anyone admit to knowing it? ;)

Day Trip To Bangor was by Fiddler's Dram.

I remember the words for the Barron Knights pisstake better though :)
Didn't we have a lovely time
at the office christmas party?

We finished our work
and all went berserk
and grabbed the nearest secretary

One of my all time fave quotes from any song due to the none sense made up rhyme.

The dogio and the catio are fighting on the patio
The neighbours need a hero ’cos someone’s had their stereo
