Jiggs how did you....?

Post by gremon »

Hiya Jiggs,

Wanted to know how you closed the last gap between lvl 48 and 50?

I have been hunting in Snowdonia/Sauvage/Pennines lately on Ellyls/Tegs/Fellwoods/CliffCrawlers/Large Rock Bounders and Angry Bwca.

Very good exp and at lvl48 they still give 1 Bulb/2hours soloing.

Was wondering what you hunted the last 2 levels?

Thanks in advance.

I have 3 bubs now.. soloing Angry Bwca's gives 24M - 40+ M per kill.. and very fast.
Will try out Df when its open.

Have tried wights .. very good at 46 and 47. But was a bit crowded in Barrows last night miught try again.

Thx for the info

If anyones interested in frontier soloing mid 40's then may I suggest the Boars near the Hadrians Wall entrance.

There arent many of them which is a bit of a pain, but there are some lovely folds in the hills there to rest in and the chance to suprise the odd solo Mid made it great fun for me :)

Just admit you did tweees Jiggs, I was there. :D
I must say that the things are very much overrated concerning the xp they give, especially when you are 47+ and in an overall high group.

The reason everybody does em is that you can get to the spots at practically lvl1 and if someone has to leave you can get replacements without problems. Dartmoorhunts are far better, more interesting and fun (good company helps, I've experienced some terrible ones too :( )

Solo: Vigilant Souls and Whights in Barrows and Snowdonia Angry Bwcas. Snow is deserted most of the time.
Duo: Rockgrinder camps in Dartmoor

tweeeees are the only way to go, sure df gives much better exp, but you can practically set your watch by the exp you get in a tree group, its not too low, and comes at a constant rate, in a good group its pretty safe too

Only one thing I have to say.

I don't understand what's so boring about trees :)

it's all about smacking mobs... just a different model :)

I find treegroups very useful... because you learn to know the people who are almost 50's and you'll see them in rvr a lot...

Also because treegroups are 'boring' people have a lot of fun in groupchat :)

And seeing my xp bar move on my infil more than compensates for it being boring...

i solod 48-50 with Quoza in barrows doing Druidic Skeletons and Celtic summits. the skells are uber Xp, not because they give so much, but because you can kill them within 2-3 hits and thus do them on v high speed. 1 small problem when you get 2 though, the second one will dot you and heal the one youre tanking, youll have to hit it before it does
