Need some ideas for the guild meeting

Things to discuss: roleplaying (do we want to try as a guild to try to roleplay more ... be in character in says and yells when you can etc., not on the group or guild lines as it gets in the way of xp )

Rank - what sort of feats should we have to gain rank? Crazy tasks set out by me?
I also need to promote anyone not yet a Private to Private.

Anything else you can think of... please post.

Just an idea i was thinking of last evening:
how about 2 difrent kind of ranks, because a sergant wizzard sounds stupid=)

as i've seen there is 10 ranks where rank 0 is guild master He should be General since thats you hehe.

rank 1 and 2 should be the same. For instance Captain for the fighter types and Master Mage/High mage for the magic side.

This is just an idea. When we get more people in the guild we can form socalled Battlegroups, where 1 is sergant(group leader) and 1 corporal and the rest privates.
Because then the meetins will get much easier if the sergants get inn feedback from his/her groups and post it on the meeting=)

but back to the ranks=)

rank1 Captain
rank2 Master Elementalist
rank3 Battlemage
rank4 Sergant
rank5 Corporal
rank6 mage/Elementalist
rank7 Private
rank8 Apretice
rank9 Draftee

Rank1+2 is the same
Rank3+4 is the same
Rank 5 is same for both=)
rank6+7 the same
Rank8+9 the same

And when it comes to Color:
Sergants should be Black with Crimson arms
Battlemages should be black if robed and same as sergant if not robed.

This is just something we can discuss on the meeting:P

I like that idea... martial titles aren't so apt for all those cloth wearers.

Not sure I agree with the whole black black black thing though... everyone likes black too much  bright pink for sarges...

hehe can sit down for a while and think out some colour schemes. Should be cool.

The pink was a joke...

I prefer bleached chainmaill... but hey that's me

Maybe have different coloured sleeves or gloves for rank? (sleeves for warriors, gloves for robed?) rest as you please (i.e. black for everyone)

Of course black stands out rather a lot on the golf course.... and in odins....
tis just a I'm high level and have cash thing really  but could confuse the enemy looking for easy RP I guess.

That said if 8 people in non-black came at them fromthe side would they think 'pah only lowbies'?

We also need a anthem to stir our hearts in those dark moments, best find us a minstrel to pen a suitable number, something about the green valley of humberton perhaps....
hmm is there a inn in humberton?? I vote we chew the fat over a few ales there (if there is one?)

well the point with black is that its damn hard to see in the night=) Green could allso be a an option.

Green for hunts in emain and black/bleech in odin?=)

Myself I'm gonna go with bleached, a guild cloak (with a green one for spare) and some colour of sleeves to denote rank.

Black stands out like a sore thumb at night as well as day (unless you have crap contrast in which case you can't see squat at night anyway)

Hrm tempted to try army maneuvres - practice ambush tactics in Snowdonia or something  (where people can tell us if they saw us a mile off due to our black/pink armour or whatever)

Wasn't suggesting we go full-blown 'thee thar thou' type role-playing.

Just the odd /salute now and again. Maybe yelling in character when looking for group members if you feel upto it.
(e.g. /yell 'Strong and able souls sought for a foray into the plains! Let's slay us a giant or two.')

Note /g and /gu should just be whatever.. no point saying 'Aiee! a basilisk! slay the beast!' by th etime you've done that you're dead

I guess we should encourage it but definitely NOT demand it.

I have a champ on hib/pryd - don't play much
(name of Aineviin)

Can link up and join a guild over there (all join the same one I guess... or we could form our own new one I suppose... but one guild is enough hassle for me really )

Have a few items to give away at meeting:
Cleric: mithrian mace and wanderer belt
Infil: Observers Jerkin
Wizzy/Mage Type: Insurgents Vest
and a few others I can't think of right now. Damn sorry second, I have seen 2 bowmasters bracers drop in keltoi now, both times I didn't get the split. Hard to persuade people to give you a scout item when you're a friar

Morrowind is ace... wish I'd gone something sneaky or charismatic rather than an Orc Fighter (with a little bit of magic that he's crap at)....

Maybe once I get through enough with this char

The graphic was sweet(not the npc's tho=) but i had just minimum req prosessor hehe.

i found a dungeon just outside the first city (i swam out to an little island and it was a door in a three:P)

But the sound was awsome=)

Too bad the guard in the ship got stuck in the wall when we had moved up the first set of stairs=)

Yeah there's loads of little dungeons...
It's more of a do-tasks, follow intrigue kind of game than a diablo 2, slay everything, with the odd task on the side thing.

Go join the mages guild  and do some tasks... they start off nice and friendly, easy stuff, then they start asking you to kill other guildmembers (who you might happen to be friends with etc...)

There's no limit on what guilds you can join ... My Orc SoulAxe (custom class, weapons and a bit of mysticism coz it looked cool) is a Journeyman Fighter, something in the Mages guild, a Blackcap in the thieves guild... and a Journeyman in the Blades

course the fighers guild are trying to get me to kill the thieves whilst the thieves are getting me to rob the mages... tis funny

If you head up north to caldera there's a person there that gives you some 'boots of blinding speed' (the BLINDING bit is significant... but you can still almost see at night if you've got stupid contrast/brightness on your monitor like me)

I also started with the sign of the charioteer (or the horse or whatever it was) that makes you a bit faster.
