Battlefield 2

Anyone else played/playing this?

A mate of mine badgered me into buying it because I like Counter Strike Source but had managed to ease myself away from it and back to DAOC... and now this appears...and its great !! Been hammering it a bit over the weekend - and you can level up and stuff and it tracks all your kills / how you killed etc...

And now he is onto me to get the add-on Special Forces pack - I havent even seen all the maps on BF2 yet

How on earth am I meant to fit this game and DAOC in when I don't even get enough DAOC time ????

i played it for a while, got to Staff Sergeant then got bored

went back to counterstrike source, which is as much fun as it ever was

So far I am really enjoying it - may get the expansion but only if it adds to the stats on the original as well - otherwise it's gonna be forever before I advance in either..

Gotsa love the CS:S tho for quick carnage but haven't played it for awhile - kinda go through spells on that - had a lan session at mine a few months ago with 5 of us playing CS:S - its amazing how much more easily you can pwn when all ya mates are sat around talking tactics (and when they die scanning the map for teh enemy

)

heheheh, i only play cs on one server, maybe thats why i enjoy it so much, no random blokes shouting abuse or cheating, 40player no awp ftw!

Ah well... just conceded defeat on my lunch break and went and bought Special Forces as well ..more pwnage tonight methinks

I think if it had a stats rating system like BF2 I would never have left tbh - Its nice to gauge your progress, and see how many times you have killed someone with a shock-pad

heheh, yeah, server i play on is constantly monitored for stats, can give you the ip if youre insterested

I play Red Orchestra...I would probbably play it more if it has ranking system.
