OK, we're going to do another troll night on Logres.

Basically, we meet up on Excalibur, then all ship on over to Midgard on Logres (the smallest of the German servers) and run around as trolls killing things.

Was great fun last time we did it, so we're gonna do it again.

Meet up on Excalibur in guild chat before 8pm, we'll then head on over to Logres.

If you can't make it before 8pm logon to Logres and contact one of this lot:

Twitch
Flinch
Suncsha
Brains
Bamse
Ozric

We have powerlevelling powers now! (us shaman have a crap damage add and a crap damage shield at lvl 5 ) so don't be afraid to join in.

Got a GF4 Ti4600 a bit ago Jiggs - it really rocks! Yer gonna love it! But then I got it as part of my new PC so it worked out cheaper than splashing out 400 dollars on it!

I wouldnt go as far as to say the new Radeon is 4 times faster - the benchmarks I've seen give it around 50% faster I believe! I will stick with NVidia as they have proven architecture - ATI's drivers are still a bit crap from what I've read! Let us know how it does though!

Blech my Little Geforce 4mx is getting upset

I've got an 1800+XP but need a new motherboard before it'll run at over 1100 ... oh well, next month (at which point Zo gets a duron 700 machine with a geforce 2mx to play camelot on rather than the laptop... she might be able to see more than two feet in front of her now!)

one machine done, one to go. After much debate with chums over beers WinXP Prof edition on NTFS partition was choosen. 'EEK' I hear you shout, however so far so good and its really quite a sweet OS  (cue massive crashing etc etc etc)

I got to say the machine is obscenely fast, even booting up takes like 5 seconds now.....

when i run xp i just get bluescreen when it first time reboots and starts up winxp. and blue screen eeeverytime i try to startup xp after that. so i flushed it and installed good old trusty winME. the only thing that has been stable more than 2 month:P (and fact has it... i reboot max 1 time eevery week.

I got my new Comp with WinXP 2 or so months back and it is actually very stable - doesnt crash at all - had a couple of freezes occasionally but I suspect thats more to do with the networking software than the OS! Having swore not to get XP but having no choice when buying a new PC if I want Windows on it - thats a big change of heart!

so far so good
IMO the secret to using these new os is to have as clean a system as poss. So on my main comp I use the onboard sound and have just a graphics card and my 10/100 card. The other PC has all the internet junk and CDwriters/Soundcards etc etc
It treats you like a total nOOb but XP prof is a easy os to use.

Yeah, come help our domination of midgard

Need a couple more before we can form our guild for one thing...

Being a troll is recommended but not required (sunc, jiggs and alluvia are kobold/norse/norse)
